Rev. Nathaniel Nelson
Reverend Nathaniel Nelson is the founder of Haven of Rest Baptist Church. He taught people to display love, for God is love. He organized Haven of Rest Baptist Church because he believed that the church should be an inviting environment full of love and dedicated toward helping any individual, that so desired, a better way of serving Christ.
Serving God Through Our Ministry Work
Deacon Board
Church Deacons assist the Pastor in maintaining and promoting the spiritual growth of the Church. The Deacons, serve as the armor bearers for the Pastor assist in furthering his mission and vision as a servant of God.
Pastor’s Aide
The Pastor’s Aide ministry serves to provide wisdom, guidance, and support to the women and girls of the church as well as to support the needs of the Pastor.
Mission Ministry
It is the work of the Mission Ministry to encourage the study of God’s word, prayer for one another and meet the needs of men, women and children, while maintaining a life that is pleasing to God.
